We are delighted this year to be guests of the Department of Computer Science and the Mathematics Institute at the University of Warwick - which is easily accessible by car or by train to Coventry and a short bus ride. Arrangements are being made for those who are unable to travel to Coventry to participate online.
The meeting will include the BSHM AGM, and also a party to celebrate the BSHM's 50th birthday.
The programme will be A ‘History of Mathematics’ Day: a potpourri of interesting historical mathematical issues.
Confirmed speakers so far:
- Tony Crilly (on Cayley)
- Deborah Kent (on the 1871 eclipse expedition)
- Alex Aylward
- Philip Beeley
- Aoife Kearins
We have the usual slots available for 20 minute contributed papers from BSHM members. If you would like to speak, please contact Isobel Falconer (email@example.com)
